Still can’t tell if it’s male or female.
Apparently for hanging parrots, there’ll be blue throat spot for male and green for female. This one has kinda turquoise patch from certain angle. Maybe it’s still a baby and can’t tell yet?

Looks like we’d be keeping this little bird 😁

He follows my father everywhere he goes, and I think my father has grown quite fond of him. You can see that he even chopped some tree branches from outside and brought them in for the bird. I’m starting to doubt he’ll actually pass him on to his friend! The bird is on a fresh fruit diet and has the whole ground floor to himself. No cage for now, so he can fly freely around the entire ground floor.

He is very very very tiny and rests upside down!

A random little parrot came into our house and not leaving

It even took a nap and he’s still here. We’ve got huge main doors open wide all day but it’s not flying away.

Update: Thank you all for the advice and concern.
The little bird is now safe and being well taken care of at a friend’s house. He loves birds, and his home is much more peaceful, with a garden and a better environment for the little one. Unfortunately, we don’t have a rescue centre where we live. My heart also tells me not to keep the bird indoors, knowing that its nature is to fly freely. We’re from Southeast Asia, and I don’t believe this is a particularly rare species here, so there’s a good chance it may have a family or flock somewhere nearby. For now, we just want to make sure it is safe, healthy and strong enough. When it feels ready, it can decide for itself!

P.S I’m not sure why the post has a lock icon.

1%

I have always been suicidal and struggle with the will to live or go. Tbh, when emotions hit rock bottom, I just want to go and ofc there’s 1% of myself that will doubt if I’d regret it as a spirit. I have done so many dangerous stuffs to myself secretly and now they’re all scars because of that 1% holding me back. I always knew it’s just one more step, and that’s it.

People around me says I’m using this as a tactic of seeking attention or using it as threats.

But honestly and anonymously, I really want to say… I only need the support from people to let me go. That 1% is fking strong that’s screwing my whole plan. If life’s after this living world is perfect, there’s no hesitation. Why is afterlife so damn uncertain..

Someone told me if one suicided, u have to relive the moment forever in afterlife and hence, the 1%.
