Most of my knives will never get a lanyard, and I deem them both ugly and mostly unneeded.

Does anyone make PM2, Kapara, delica, or endura scales without the (worthless to me) lanyard hole? (Ideally also only drilled for right hand tip up carry. 4 position screw holes are fugly)

How are conditions shaping up around Convict Lake and the lakes above like Mildred, Dorothy, or Cloverleaf in a couple weeks for an early season trip?

Trail passable without mountaineering gear yet? If so, Micro Spikes, ice axe, or anything else needed?

Is the one water crossing an issue early in the year?

How much snow remains? At 8k / 10k / 11k?

Are the upper lakes at 11k accessible or still snowed in?
