Newbie

Hi folks, glad to come across this community. I am 49 this year, decided to come back to cycling after some PTSD. During a trip overseas , met a good guy and maybe a gravel bike with disc will suit me. I have decided to jump into the pool and swim in the dark lol. As I like to travel, I am considering a bike that is easy to pack (B&W Bike Case 2.0). I was looking at Giant Revolt and I realise that the stem is integrated and will be difficult to pack. So I decided to switch to Canyon but I am still lost. I was advised that a Shimano mechanical Grx 600 or 800 is great for travel and aluminium is great nowadays as compared to carbon. my budget is around USD2.5k. Hope to hear some advise on which brand I should go. I love a good climb and in my past good days, I can do stelvio with a good bike spinning at around 15km/h (hopefully I can train myself back to those days). thank you in advance.

Giant Bikes

Hi everyone, I am looking for a second hand gravel bike on carousel. I realise that there are so many giant listing. I used to think Giant is value for the dollar. Is there any big changes to Giant Quality over the years? Updates - after some checks, the giant revolt series is hard to remove the stem for packing the bike for overseas use :(

Hi Folks, going to move to a resale home. The first time for me.. I am thinking of using ikea home planning service as it feels very stress finding ID contractors. Anyone with experience using them?
