I've always wanted to work for an international development organization/institution like the World Bank or IMF to help bring positive change. I became a communist in uni and after researching these organizations, I learned that they can sometimes (maybe most of times or more than sometimes?) do more harm than good (pushing neoliberal reforms and issuing multi‑million loans that burden countries for years). Now I feel conflicted and a bit lost about my current studies and future career. Any advice?
