We’re making a football game where “deal agreed” is a claim you have to back up

Your source says the player wants the move. The club hasn’t confirmed anything. Another reporter is about to publish.

That’s a situation in Football Transfer Insider, the game we’re developing about reporting on football transfers.

You call sources, compare their stories and decide what you can put in the headline. Each call takes time, so waiting for confirmation could cost you the scoop. Publishing too early could cost you credibility.

These are screenshots from the current build. The clubs and players are fictional, and the game is still in development.

Wir entwickeln ein Fußballspiel, in dem ihr über Transfers berichtet

Hey zusammen, wir arbeiten an Football Transfer Insider. Darin spielt ihr einen Fußballjournalisten: Ihr telefoniert mit Quellen, vergleicht ihre Aussagen und entscheidet, welche Meldung ihr veröffentlichen könnt.

Ein Beispiel: Zwei Vereine verhandeln, aber eine Einigung ist noch nicht bestätigt. Reichen die Infos für eine Meldung über laufende Gespräche? Oder ruft ihr noch jemanden an, um mehr herauszufinden? Das kostet Zeit, und ein anderer Reporter könnte euch zuvorkommen.

Die Screenshots zeigen den aktuellen Entwicklungsstand. Vereine und Spieler sind erfunden.

An die Leute, die das Transferfenster verfolgen: Würdet ihr eine vorsichtige Meldung veröffentlichen oder auf die Bestätigung warten?
