On the hunt for early career A&P jobs

Hopefully posting in the right place

Hey everybody, 22 and I just received my temporary A&P certificate on October 4. I’m trying to find solid jobs with potential for growth whether that be in helicopters or jets. I’m looking in the Denver area, but also I am fine working anywhere in the United States if it would be for a large airliner where I can transfer to a different hub after some time.

I recently started applying and I’m seeing a lot of jobs that require a ton of experience which is a little discouraging. I have an associates in Aviation maintenance, I had a summer internship working on private jets, about a year in the army National Guard working on Blackhawks, and around eight months working on general aviation aircraft for a flight school before I joined the military.

If anyone has any experience with certain companies or know of places needing entry-level A and P mechanics, please reply!

Thanks all!!

Hype behind numbers matching?

Looking to get a Pontiac Firebird in the next year or two, and I’m wondering what the hype is behind numbers matching cars? They seemed to fetch unreasonably high prices compared to Pontiac with newer engines. Also original paint? Why wouldn’t you just want new paint? Sorry if I’m being a dumbass.
