Do people actually "power cycled" or restart their WiFi router every 10 days?

Think my WiFi company are trying to gaslight me. Never heard this In my life and I'm so tired of not even being able to watch Netflix and paying a small fortune for WiFi.

UK based, just got a new router from same provider and upgraded for better speeds but it's still shit and buffering. Their answer is to power cycle the router every 10 days. Seems like a lot and I've watched a movie at friends and families places who I'm pretty confident are not doing this.

Are they talking nonsense?

Edit: I got a new hub not a router sorry I basically have no idea what I'm talking about. It's a smart hub, fibre broadband is provided by EE.

Where can I find the puffco cupsy(or similar) that will ship to UK?

Got this for my friend as a gift last year and well, we now need one too of course. I originally bought it on Amazon but they're sold out. Found one site selling to the UK but trust pilot reviews are shit. Is there anything similar in style and quality I can buy here? Thanks!

Renting with pets

Why oh why is this so difficult? Scotland here and we have been looking to move further North for months now. Everywhere I can find says "no pets" , in one of the most dog friendly countries in the world I can't find a home where I'm allowed my dog with me?

Finally thought we had found somewhere this morning, all booked in for a viewing only to get a call back saying they'd made a mistake and the landlord says no pets.

Landlords, what is the problem? Why have this as a blanket rule when only a very small minority of idiots are going to cause you any problems by having a pet in the property. It's so frustrating, and I'm honestly at my wits end looking for somewhere.

Anyone know where I can find a landlord/agency or anyone really that would at least give us the time of day and opportunity to apply for a property with pets?
