Hi everyone! I am flying from CPH to HND in few days. My question is, when the check in will open, will I be able to choose the seat or SAS will assign one for me? And if I can choose the seat will the price of preferred seat be lower than before?

Me and my friend are flying SAS a350 to Tokyo in few months. We purchased the youth economy tickets for a very good price and now we are wondering about seat reservations and/or upgrade. We had an idea that if we book seats a and c leaving b empty in the middle then there is a good chance that we wont have random person siting with us (has someone done something like this?). And the upgrade to SAS plus used to be 210 now it is 300+, does anyone know if the price will continue to grow or will it reduce when it gets closer to the departure date. Which option do you recommend and if you have better advice I will be more than happy to hear it. Thank you in advance.
