GMMG in War Room: anyone got a screenshot?

I didn't record the draft and don't see any replays coming up. Did anyone happen to catch GMMG's reaction in the war room after trading up in the draft? I gotta see that again

Would you trade the #2 for #11, 15, 32, and something else?

I do not think I would, but it certainly would be tempting.

"The Blues have the 11th and 15th picks in the first round and will find out where their other first-rounder slots in when the Colorado Avalanche’s season ends. They also have three picks in the third round, two in the fourth, two in the fifth and one in each of the sixth and seventh."

"If you use the Perri pick value calculator, Nos. 11, 15 and 32 have a total combined value of 67.3, and No. 2 has a total individual value of 72.7, so you still don’t get there. If the Avalanche lose in the conference finals and the Blues’ third first-round pick becomes No. 30, you’re still only at 68.3. And then there’s always a premium placed on top of that for moving up. If I’m the Sharks, I’m setting that price at a significant roster piece (Jordan Kyrou) over another prospect (Adam Jiricek, Dalibor Dvorsky, etc.)."

Eric Stephens thinks Grier should hold the pick at a high price. He sees Parayko as a marginal fit given his age, and doesn't want Kyrou or Buchnevich. He'd open by asking for Snuggerud as a negotiating posture, but views a more realistic package as No. 11 plus Jiricek plus a third-rounder. He also notes Grier has alternatives: free agency or trading a winger for a defenseman.

Rutherford agrees the cost to move up is steep. He thinks Kyrou or Parayko could form a foundation but probably still falls short. He draws a hard line against including Snuggerud or Jiricek, viewing both as too valuable to surrender. He floats a dual-pick package (Nos. 11 and 15 plus more) as another angle, but acknowledges the math likely doesn't work based on established trade value calculators.

The throughline: San Jose holds significant leverage, the Blues' most movable assets (Kyrou, Parayko) may not be enough on their own, and any deal would require a multi-piece package to get close.
