Is there any tracking softwares that are actually live instead of pings?
Currently use macropoint. Not the biggest fan
Any tracking software you guys would recommend and price? Also any pros and cons would be nice to know as well
I have been working in the freight industry for 8 years and have been building a tracking/visibility platform based around some of the frustrations I’ve had with the current options.
I’m looking for 5–10 small/midsize brokerages that would be willing to pilot it for free and give me honest feedback.
Current features include:
-Live driver location tracking
-Driver tracking link via text — no app required
Automated location updates
-Detention/dwell alerts when a driver has been sitting at a facility
-Ability to communicate with the driver from the broker portal
-Tracking history and timestamps
I’m not looking to sell anyone anything during the pilot. I’m mainly trying to figure out what brokers actually like, what sucks, and what’s missing before we roll it out further.

I’d also be curious what you currently use for tracking and your biggest complaint with it.
