sergeant fish & friends

the most realizable food I've ever dreamed of was called "sergeant fish"; my friend's mom had made it for me and let me look at the cookbook it was in. it was a hollow pastry crust shell shaped like a fish and filled with melted cheese--essentially like a fish-shaped empanada with queso filling. The traditional way to eat it was to first bite off the fish's head, drink the cheese, and then eat the rest of the crust. if I did not hate cooking I would absolutely make sergeant fish.

during the same dream i also came up with three new flavors of chex mix that were only sold in syria: maple syrup, blue raspberry, and "onion juice".
