So I am no astrologer but as I get more into magic it seems like you more or less need some understanding of astrology for a lot of magic out there. So I have been doing research and I have learned the difference between tropical and sidereal astrology and it seems to me that sidereal would be more accurate. (Mind you I am just talking about the planetary calculations not western vs vedic, as far as I can tell, you can use sidereal calculations and apply vedic or western interpretations to it)

Anyone out there using sidereal calculations for ritual timing etc.? Do you feel like it works better or worse? Does anyone have arguments against it?

What kinds of things do you read about for yourself and what spreads do you like for different kinds of questions?

Sooner or later I'll start doing some readings for others but while I'm still memorizing and familiarizing myself with tarot I know there has to be various things that are good to read on for yourself.

I'm looking for more ways to practice and to get to know aspects of my spiritual life, fate paths etc.

Any advice is appreciated 🤠
