Finally was able to rehome my geck.

Finally was able to rehome my geck.

I lost my job, so it became really desperate that I rehomed my gecko, and it finally was able to happen the other day.

She deserves so much more than I was able to give her and honestly the whole thing has been a learning experience that I can't just jump into a pet without proper research and resources.

Which sounds obvious now that I type it out...

I do feel a kind of empty, sad feeling when I look at where her tank was, but I know she is in a better home now with better owners and it's best this way.

Thanks for the help r/leopardgeckos, it was fun to be kind of apart of the community for a little while.

Lost my job recently, could REALLY use the help keeping the lights on.

Had to post again because I was missing pictures.

I recently lost my job (May 15th) because I could not travel there anymore, and I could really use the help supporting my home that includes my four dogs, Lily, Luna, Lillianna, and Bozer.

For now my cat and dogs have food, but probably only for a couple more months. And I'm immensely worried about my electricity getting turned off, which is going to be really bad with this heat that just started.

I also am extremely malnourished from a lack of a proper diet/food in general to be honest. I would appreciate any tips/help in that regard too.

I already have had this disconnection notice (above) for a minute so I'm not sure when they are going to come and just shut everything off I just hope they don't. The bill is getting QUITE high since I have never been able to pay it off fully even with my old job.

As for what I'm doing to try and fix the situation I have been applying for many jobs over the last few weeks because I knew this was coming, but still no answers. I've applied for unemployment.

I don't have a car or license so doing most things is difficult on top of my mental health issues. There aren't too many places within walking distance of me that I haven't applied to.

I haven't even mentioned that I have a debt payment every month I need to take care of, I'm not sure what the debt collector will do if I miss those by a significant amount of time and I don't want my pets taken away from me.

I talked with unemployment public assistance and they said even after I go through the whole process, that I most likely won't get any money myself, just my landlord. That's good for rent, but currently I'm way more worried about the electric bill, my pet food, and my debt bill because my Grandma is my landlord so she is very lenient about rent thankfully.

I would appreciate any help anyone can give me. Even just advice or encouragement.

EDIT: Apparently I forgot to add in my disconnection notice really stupidly, I had to upload it to an image host because I apparently can't add pics to an already posted post. https://photobucket.com/share/1880bf51-4758-4c15-adb9-7067c1db9538

Lost job recently, could use any help anyone can give.

This past couple weeks its become more and more of a hassle to get to my retail job (expensive ubers, no car, and the job is 15 mins away by car. I worked at that job for over a year, then a disagreement with my family over how much rides should cost lead to them absorbing that privilege away.), and the bus wasn't an option given how strict my work schedule was. (The bus wouldn't run to pick me up, so I'd need to uber home every day or stop closing, and they needed closers not any other position.) I don't have any family I can rely on to help in this situation, as none of them live close to me anymore.

Anyways, I'd really appreciate legit *anything* sent my way, and any advice for getting jobs to call you back because I've had no luck yet. Or if anyone has suggestions for entry-level jobs for at home? Mostly this week I'm just worried about food because the closest food bank is a few miles away and my neighborhood is not really that safe. (Yes, I do feel like I would get robbed for a loaf of bread in my neighborhood.)

Edit: adding cashapp just in case people see and want to help: $pagerr1

Thanks for taking time to read regardless!! 💙
