STS-77 was a 10-day Space Shuttle Endeavour mission in May 1996, focused on microgravity research using the SPACEHAB-4 module and deploying/retrieving the Spartan-207 satellite with its Inflatable Antenna Experiment (IAE). The mission set records for the most rendezvous operations during the shuttle era, involving four rendezvous with two different payloads, and conducted numerous scientific experiments in materials science, biotechnology, and physics.
