My personal take - I think we're moving back to reading
A few years ago, everyone was talking about how videos were taking over. Short-form content. Reels. Attention spans, getting shorter.
But lately, I've been noticing, people are reading and writing a lot more. I see almost every other individual around me, using the 'summarize' option on youtube.
Think about it.
Every AI tool requires reading. Every good prompt requires writing. People are reading Reddit threads, LinkedIn posts, newsletters, documentation, AI responses, summaries and comments all day long. In fact, I probably read more today than I did 2-3 years ago.
Which makes me wonder... What if AI actually brings reading back?
My prediction after observing this shift and decoding human behaviour is that businesses around reading and writing will quietly grow over the next few years.
Not fancy businesses. Simple things like: Book cafes, Reading clubs, Newsletter businesses, Blogging platforms, Writing communities, Children's reading products, Book summary apps (which have already started booming), Note-taking tools, Study communities, etc!
Because suddenly, being able to read, think and communicate clearly is becoming useful again.
Funny enough, the internet spent years pushing us towards watching. AI might push us back towards reading.
Maybe I'm completely wrong. Or maybe we're in the early days of a shift where reading becomes cool again.
What do you guys think?
I am leveling up my videos, what mic would you recommend me in max $50?
Guys, I am Pallavi, a designer and I am into content creation. I sometimes record outdoors as well and that time my audio quality is horrible and it takes so much effort to fine tune the audio file!
I have not yet monetized my Instagram page, but I have taken up a 100 days consistent posting challenge and hence I see this upgrade requirement.
I have a max 5000 Rupees budget, please recommend good quality mics which you guys might have used and if required please share relevant information related to the same or if anything that I need to keep in mind while purchasing a mic!
Thanks alot! Awaiting your suggestions guys!
Content creators, when were you able to monetize your work?
What was the turning point? How long did it take, what worked, what didn't, and what would you do differently if you started today?

Are hiring posts even real anymore?
Especially the “Hiring Graphic Designers / Social Media Managers” ones.
The posts blow up, people spam portfolios in comments, but there’s barely any follow-up or actual response from the company.
Feels more like an engagement bait than real hiring sometimes.
Do you guys think some brands are using hiring posts mainly to boost engagement and visibility?
