Macanudo Inspirado black
Tasty with a bit of a punch. I think I found my favorite stick

Tasty with a bit of a punch. I think I found my favorite stick
Una carrellata di bestiole trovate in giro per la Val di Cornia.
Sì, mi arrogo la prerogativa di tentare di accarezzare tutti i gatti che capitano a tiro.
Tornabuoni Supertuscan
A big stick for a big event (hopefully. It's quite cloudy)
Moro, Supertuscan? Qualcosa di strano della Amazon? Ero orientato sui sigari italiani, I caraibici mi sembrano sempre sovrapprezzo per quello che restituiscono in fumata
Bold flavor of earth, wood, leather and spices.
The fun-size is perfect (or ... perfecto? 😏), I don't think that I could handle a bigger format
A tasty petit robusto.
Not a particularly interesting smoke, but good enough to relax at the sunset
Little bullets of kentucky tobacco.
The format is the one used for sampling new batches or blends, but apparently works also for cigarillos
Mix of italian and north american tobaccoes, rolled with a classic binder and wrap method, instead of the usual single wrap of the italian-style cigars.
Punchy and rich. Maybe a bit monotone, but nonetheless tasty
Toscano-shaped but flavorwise completely different.
Nutty and slightly bitter with a sweeter aftertaste.
Paired with an iced espresso with a dash of almond milk
Long filled and handrolled. Made from single cultivar of kentucky tobacco. Slightly spicy and earthy.
Since it's holiday time, if you or someone you know come here in Italy, do yourself a favor and bring back home some niche cigar. There's more then the usual Toscano here
One of the sticks that my late father left untouched since the 80s.
No mold. No cracks. Decent pull.
For the flavor profile, it's the first time that I taste chocolate in a cigar. Not cocoa. It's almost creamy and the smoke is very aromatic
Big and dumb, but for an evening smoke on the seaside is what I needed
Italian tobacco, peruvian manufacturing.
Thanks to whoever suggested the dickman cut for a figurado. The pull now is perfect.
Very tasty. Notes of cocoa, earth and leather. The smoke is thick and funny to play with. It's a shame that is not sold abroad
This is my first figurado and ... I made an oopsie. At first I cut just the tip, but the pull wasn't great. So I made a deeper cut, but then it was completely open and on the end of the smoke it started unraveling.
Is there a sweet spot on the fascia to aim for the cut?
The Chiaravalle company usually produces cigarettes, but last year they launched this half cigar made of kentucky and spadone tobacco, an old cultivar that was on the brink of extinction.
Lighter than a toscano, but still tasty and with a nice nicotine punch. Scents of wood and leather. Very little chimney, unlike the toscano
Thicker version of the usual toscano blend of fire cured kentucky.
Nice for a longer smoke, but a bit harsh on the end. Better have something sweet to drink on the side
The usual toscano sauce (fire cured kentucky) in a much chunkier size
