it seems like X is aging horribly outside his fandom
i think it’s crazy seeing how it is now cool to hate on x and call his music “depressed teen music”.
was his music only just a phase to most listeners or they never connected to what he was trying to express,
as a fan that watched from his rise to his death and saw all the love he got throughout his career and recognition. it is saddening to see his work brazenly disregarded (despite the numbers and the records!) ,
as big as drake is today, x was one of the few youngins that ever went toe to toe, be it, influence or numbers.
to many fans today in online conversations he seems like a relic, but i guess that’s reality.
what do you think.
