I got my replacement coolant expansion tank and decided that it'd be a good time to also bleed and replace my coolant. Following the Haynes guidelines I've been revving the engine to around 2500 RPM for 5 min which is supposed to be followed by 5 seconds at 3000 RPM but every time I've tried it at almost exactly 5 min the engine cuts power. The vents are blowing hot air during the test and my OBD2 reader is showing that the engine is never getting above 192 F. Is this supposed to occur or is something going wrong?
