I’m genuinely curious where people stand on this now.
Janitor still has one of the best communities and bot libraries, but the actual experience depends so much on the model, proxy, settings, bot card, and whether the replies decide to behave that day.
Some sessions are amazing.
Some feel completely broken.
Do you still think Janitor AI is the best platform for uncensored RP, or have better alternatives caught up?

I keep seeing people say Janitor “lost the spark,” and I kind of get it.
But I’m not sure if the model really got worse, or if we just got better at noticing the patterns.
At first, every bot felt alive. Now I can spot the same phrasing, the same pacing, the same emotional beats, the same “almost good but not quite” replies from a mile away.
Maybe JLLM changed. Maybe proxies changed. Maybe Janitor changed.
Or maybe we’ve all spent so many hours roleplaying that our brains finally learned the trick.
For people who have been here for a while: do you think Janitor genuinely declined, or did the magic wear off because we got too familiar with AI RP?

I need new recommendations.
My current bots are getting stale and I want something actually immersive.
