Trailer breaks

I’m getting comfortable towing my TT ( newbie first season/3 trips this summer so far). It tows nice and truck pulls it good. I consider all the advice offered in these online communities. My Issue: When braking the trailer brakes feel like they are assisting until the last 10-15 ft., then they seem to release, …and I lurch forward “a little extra”. I expect it now so I plan accordingly, but it seems like it shouldn’t do that.

Anyone have any thought on this????

WDH noise

I have the WDH shown here. It is not one of the mainstream ones and doesn’t have the same brackets with the large pin. Those types, you can get a nylon “Bracket Jacket” that helps with the metal on metal wear and noise of WDHs. I can’t find a nylon pad option for this bracket. Does anyone know where or how to find something that may work?

TIA
