What EV?
I do a round trip of 125 around 3 days a week in the summer and maybe 4 days a month in the winter. I have 2 young kids so I need space for them and I'll be buying a used EV with a budget of 20-25k.
Ideally I want a car that has a heat pump and a minimum winter range of 160 miles but ideally more.
So far I haven't test drive any but my thoughts have been,
Tesla - not a fan of the CEO, I hear the ride is horrible and not sure I love the giant iPad set up. This is model Y but possibly a model 3.
Nissan Ariya - not seen many of them but the reviews seem good?
Renault scenic e-tech - looks nice, seems to be a very modern EV, but are Renault reliable?
BMW i4 - this is more for me than as a family car. Does anyone have any idea how good it works as a family car?
I like the Kia EV6 and the Ioniq 5 but I've discounted them due to the ICCU issues and how easy that are to steal. I know the warranty has been extended but I can't be without a car while they get around to fixing it.
The enyaq, id4, q4 seem good but I would need to find one with a heat pump as it doesn't seem they were standard fit.
The polestar 2 is an option but someone I know has had so many issues with theirs, are they reliable?
I'll probably be purchasing by the end of the month. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there anything I'm missing.
