I was really inspired by Brooks' ork books, and was lucky enough that kind stranger lent me a cast of Da Red Gobbo to get this started. I have about 20 gs right now, and have some 60 more to paint.

I was really inspired by Brooks' ork books, and was lucky enough that kind stranger lent me a cast of Da Red Gobbo to get this started. I have about 20 gs right now, and have some 60 more to paint, as well as a second Mek Gun and three more Killa Kans.

This was a bit quick and dirty. Thematically, this is all about the Dirty Dozen. Prisoners recruited, finding neglected, millennia-old kit in abandoned buildings with their trusty Jokaero guiding them (something like that). I want to redo the prison officers, but as of now they are a ragtag band themselves. One disgraced commissar leads a bunch of prisoners. Another leads a spec-ops team. Engineers are just happy to potentially blow stuff up, even if it takes out them or their cellmates in the process. Some ratlings found a box of sniper rifles. They're back in business, too.

This is an army where madness and bravery blend into chaotic, poetic, idiotic warfare.

I would like to do some light conversions on a box of atalan jackals, so we can have some motorcyclists as proxies for mounted infantry. I'd also like another 20 basic prisoners.

But, after this fellblade (which I'd been procrastinating on forever), I think I'll turn to something new for a while.
