REVIEWS FROM RANDOM ALBUMS #3!!!(actually not random...yeah)

P.s Hi!!! This is 3 part of reviews album, in 4-5 aprt i reviewed Gorillaz discography :]

Disclaimer: OP use translator for write post!!

A review of Japanese music? Surprised myself!

The main plus of the album is the vocals.

In general, I'm not the kind of person who pays attention to all this and then writes:

"Oh, what a high note she hit! What an elegant vocal timbre☝️🤓".

But while listening to this album, I paid attention to all this.

I really liked how Ado changes her voice on different songs and how she holds the notes.

In general, I would divide Ado's music into 3 types (I'm being figurative):

  1. Anime opening

  2. Anime Ending

  3. Dj GoonMaroon remix

And I don't like "Dj GoonMaroon remix" at all.

I think Ado is out of place on such songs, and it sounds strange in general. But I can understand those who like it.

Favorite song: Value

In the first few seconds, I expected the song to be not very good.

But then the song opened up and it became beautiful. The chorus is absolutely amazing.

Least favorite song: 0

The song has some strange moments, but I can understand why someone might like it.

P.s. The song gets better at the end.

Rating: 8.3/10

Fantano rating: light-decent 8

  1. Vultures 2 - ¥$, Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign

Kanye's worst album (didn't listen to Donda 2). Any other Kanye work is better than this.

But at the same time, I consider it overhated.

Are there any bad songs on the album? Yes, but there are also a few good ones.

In my opinion, the album is partly considered bad because of Kanye's influence.

If this album had been dropped by some unknown artist, then the album would have been rated softer and would have been considered just boring and weak.

On this album, I can't praise Ty Dolla $ign, because he didn't impress me.

On V1, he surprised me with good verses, but here his verses were just "meh" or "ok".

The guest verses on the album are good, but there are also bad ones

Favorite song: River

Young Thug made a good verse, but KANYE!!!

The best verse from him on the album, completely memorable and sounds great.

Least favorite song: Husband

Kanye sings and it's...not like on "808's and Heartbreak". It's worse. The instrumental is too boring and uninteresting.

But at the same time, I hate this fucking song "hoodrat" from "Vultures 1" more.

Rating: 5.2/10

Fantano rating: light 5

  1. Die for my bitch - Baby Keem

On this second mixtape, Baby Keem shows perfectly his main plus - beat switch.

This technique is used exactly as it should be - unexpectedly and interestingly.

On the mixtape there are bangers that have stuck in my head for a long time. But at the same time, there are also weak songs that I won't listen to again.

Favorite track: ROCKSTAR P

I love this song. Everything sounds great: Keem's flow and the instrumental.

Least favorite song: MY EX

This is awful...It's a very inappropriate and even slightly awkward song on the album.

It's like if Michael Jackson's album had a phonk song in the middle. It would be...awkward

Initially, I wanted to rate the album lower, but later, when I reread the notes with my thoughts during the listening session, I was surprised.

There were fairly normal ratings, and only a few songs had a rating of "4-5/10".

Rating: 7.3/10

Fantano rating: light-decent 7
