Hello!

I’ve had a Silhouette for like ten years and I still have no idea how to streamline HTV when it comes to multiple colors. (I have a Cameo 4 now.)

I’ve never done anything that actually had layers to iron on top of one another, but I’m talking about projects like this one, shown in this post, that I’m considering buying from Etsy where it has 5 colors that don’t even touch.

How would you go about this? I’ve done a couple 2-color projects where I just do my best lining up pieces cut per color and ironing from there, and I’ve tried putting pieces of HTV down exactly where they should be on the cut, but I am super bad at that. This kind of project stresses me out so I avoid them but I want to be able to approach them just as easily as I do one-color projects!

There has got to be an easier/standard way?!?!!

This is my husband and my t-shirt closet. I forgot to take a ‘before’ photo, but over the 3.5 years since we moved in, the closet, which started off with about 230 shirts neatly organized by color, had become bulky, bloated, and haphazard. We took just about 2.5 hours to go through and look at each shirt to decide about keeping it and then reorganize. This is the result. We got rid of 71 shirts! I didn’t count, but I think we’re probably at about 190 now?
