Nearly escaped death today
Around 1 PM, I was riding my two-wheeler on Althan–Bamroli Canal Road, Surat.
It’s a single two-way road. An auto-rickshaw GJ05CX9983 came straight toward me on the wrong side, and I narrowly escaped getting hit.
I took a U-turn to stop the rickshaw and tell the driver about his driving. But when I went beside him and asked him to stop, he moved the rickshaw toward me again, almost hitting me a second time.
I have photos of the driver and the rickshaw.
This isn’t about an argument or road rage. Someone driving like this can seriously injure or kill someone.
GJ05CX9983 — please identify this driver and take appropriate action.
I hope the authorities check the CCTV footage from the area.
