Hey everyone,

I’m Ricky, founder of Irving Barber Company. I spent two years developing our flagship razor with a focus on traditional barbering, but I have become a wet shaver myself and will never go back. While I come from the barbering side of the industry, I’ve always respected the passion and knowledge within the wet shaving community as you guys were some of the first to purchase our razor in 2015. I wanted to finally join in and learn directly from the people who live it every day.

I’m not here to push products or spam the subreddit.

A better understanding on the ingredients you look for in shave soaps, preshave/ beard oils, and aftershaves will help us bring quality products in the future. Right now most of the products for barber are basic with an overwhelming cheap fragrance.
