“Stick man”/dog attacker sighting this morning at 5th & PPW
Hi all. You may or may not be aware of the “stick man” who lives in Prospect Park and hates women and dogs; he attacked a woman and fatally attacked her dog (Moose) a few years ago. He sometimes disappears for a few months at a time; I saw him this morning around 8am at the 5th street entrance to Prospect Park, with his signature large stick (it looks like a walking stick). He briefly threatened me and my dog (we are fine), but please, please be aware that this man has resurfaced. His history of harassing women and going after dogs is well-established and I wouldn’t share this unless I was 100% sure it was him.
He is tall, medium/slender build, usually has his hair in a wrap, and has a Carribean accent of sorts. He usually has a few backpacks and the stick.
I know a lot of folks walk their dog while on their phone, etc., so please just pay extra attention if you’re around the park ❤️
