I am creating a new Android app for the SL3.

I am doing this because there are some things I want to do with the camera that FOTOS prevents me from doing, as well as some unresolved bugs and niggles in FOTOS.

Are there features that other users want from a companion app that are missing from FOTOS? For me the key missing things are steps to support my workflow, file sharing and backup, and more granular control over GPS tagging.

I have not decided whether to share the app more widely so I want go gauge interest levels here first.

I also have M11s and a Q3 that I could add support for if there was enough interest. There is also scope for a laptop version of the software.

Are there any features missing or annoying bugs that you really want to see fixed in the FOTOS phone app?

I have a couple:

1. When there are a lot of images on the camera, the app is unusable - FOTOS always times out when loading the gallery, preventing a connection to the camera. Its possible to repeatedly try connecting so that a bit of the gallery is loaded each time before the timeout but this is quite annoying.
2. If there is a corrupted image, the app is again unusable because you simply cannot connect to the camera - it disconnects - once again whilst loading the gallery.

I'm interested to see what other users think.
