I know 2 and 3 is a vertebrae, but is there anyway to tell what animal it is from?? Also, do teeth count as bones?

I found this and a bunch of other bones yesterday, well, I think it is a bone. It is black and seems too heavy, but it looks like a bone? I'm not sure, maybe someone can help fill in some blanks. Thanks in advance!!
