There’s quite some distance between the MP and the Jane Doe, however that could be achieved over the years, especially given Angela’s history. I see a strong resemblance with the nose and mouth. Physical characteristics align and she falls within the age estimate. I don’t have much else to say other than I believe I’m looking at the same person?

I was going through my camera roll looking at potential matches and when I went to look at this Jane Doe, she had been identified on April 24, 2026! Exciting and simultaneously sad. She ended up being 24 yrs older than their age estimation.

Sharon Evelyn Medlin
Sharon was last seen on the morning of May 2, 1998 at her home in Greer, SC. When her husband returned home all her belongings expect her cell phone were there. They had been having marital issues over credit card bills and Sharon having a boyfriend outside of the marriage. At the time of her disappearance she was 50 yrs old, 5’ & 125lbs, had brown hair & brown eyes, had a C-section scar, a hysterectomy scar, and a small scar on her arm.

Naturally I’m side eyeing the husband for Sharon’s disappearance. But what if it was the boyfriend? Could she have left to start a life with him, only to fall into another troubled relationship? The distance between SC and NY is off putting, I don’t know why they’d go to NY but I have no idea where the boyfriend lived. General physical characteristics align and Sharon had scars on her stomach like the Jane Doe. No mentions of a small scar on the Jane Doe’s arm like Sharon had though. Are the noses too different or do they just look slightly different due angles and post mortem changes? I also think the Jane Doe looks possibly Hispanic / Latino and that gives me hesitation.

Leann was last seen in Hyattsville, MD on November 16, 1985 when she stopped by a relatives to get some money. She was accompanied by an unknown man, later determined to go by “JJ” or “Jay Jay.” Leann left behind all her belongings, purse and all in her apartment. Nothing looked amiss. She was 21 yrs old at the time of her disappearance, 5’ and 130lbs, and had brown hair.

What physical characteristics we have align. I see a strong resemblance between Leann and this one reconstruction and the original 3D reconstruction shows her chin shape. Could Leann have left her old life behind? There’s less than a 100 miles between the MP and the Jane Doe, but 8 yrs had passed. Is the 8 yrs off the grid too far fetched?

Chatham County John Doe (December 2010)
On December 27, 2010 a man’s skeletal remains were discovered near an isolated small pond in Savannah, GA. They believe he’s white / Caucasian but also has African ancestry markers. He’s estimated to be 5’11 and 35-42 yrs old. His estimated PMI is 4 months. There were also remains of denim overalls, swim shorts, and cowboy boots. A gray metal ring, a gray metal key, and an orange fishing bobber were also discovered with the body.
His dental, fingerprints, and DNA are also all unavailable.

Is James wearing a Bass Masters hat? I would gamble he was a fisherman. My understanding is that his motorcycle has not been found either? The timing aligns, the PMI is pretty close, heights are close, and I see a resemblance especially with the eyebrow shape. The John Doe was discovered around 300 miles south east from where James was reported missing. James was a truck driver, could he have known of locations he wanted to visit due to his travels? I am a little confused by the race / ethnicity.

Last seen on May 25, 1967 and is missing from Ville Platte, LA. She left her baby with a sitter and was never seen or heard from again. Her live in boyfriend at the time was a pimp and Alice had previously been involved in sex work. He had a history of DV. Alice was trying to leave that lifestyle and be a hairdresser. At the time of her disappearance she was 19 yrs old, 5’7 & 140lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. She had a scar on her foot.

“Miss X”
On April 18, 1982 a woman was discovered murdered on a riverbank in Romulus, AL. She was estimated to be 30-40 yrs old, 5’4 & 110lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. She had a history of childbirth. She had a ruddy complexion and it’s thought she did manual labor. She also had a partial upper dental plate.

Does the 3” discrepancy in height break this idea? Could it be possible family perceived Alice taller due to her big hairstyles? I’m unbothered by the weight, weight can be lost. I see a pretty solid resemblance to the newer reconstruction, however I’m struggling to see much of a resemblance to the PM photo, but that may just be due to the PM changes.
Family and friends believe it’s unlikely Alice left her baby girl behind, but could she have made that decision to escape her boyfriend? Alice would have been in her 30s by 1982. There’s a state between them but she had plenty of years to travel. There are no mentions of a scar on Jane Doe’s foot. Are the discrepancies too much?

He last contacted a sibling by phone on January 1, 1982 and he was thought to be in Tampa, FL. Little information is available to us about his situation. He was 26, had brown hair and brown eyes, was 5’9 & 175-180lbs.

The eyebrows are really standing out to me. The only discrepancy I can come up with is that he’s on the taller end of the estimation and potentially lost some weight. The John Doe was found across the state from where they believed Michael to be, but it doesn’t take much to travel 2-3 hrs.

Arlene Abbas
Arlene was once married and converted to Islamic faith for her husband. They later divorce and she leaves the kids with him to go to NY. She was hospitalized for schizophrenia in NY in 1988 and released to a halfway house in Brooklyn. She was last seen on January 6, 1989 when she left the halfway house. She was 36 yrs old at the time of her disappearance, 5’5-5’7 & 150-170lbs, with blonde / strawberry hair and blue eyes.

I see a strong likeness between the Jane Doe and Arlene; the eyes, nose, and mouth seen so similar but I’m conflicted about the ears. Could it be the angle of the post mortem photo throwing the sketches off? The Jane Doe weighs a bit less but weight can be lost. The Jane Doe was discovered 60 miles away from where Arlene was reported missing. Arlene would be around 54 yrs old in 2007.

Ashley Standish Higgins
Ashley was reported missing on November 6, 1982 from Costa Mesa, CA. A female friend and Ashley had gone to Vegas and they separated and the friend returned without her. The friend didn’t know Ashley hadn’t returned. Ashley left behind pets and a $100k inheritance. At the time of her disappearance she 19 yrs old, 5’2 & 125lbs, with blonde hair and brown eyes. She had two false front teeth and noted scars on her chin and knee.

On May 14, 1989 a woman’s body was discovered in Corona Del Mar, CA. She had been strangled and discarded from a moving vehicle. The Jane Doe was found less than 10 miles away from where Ashley was reported missing. I find it hard to believe she’d willingly leave her pets behind, could she have been forced into something? The Jane Doe is obviously heavier but one can gain weight with time and age. Same heights, similar hair colors (Ashley’s roots look darker to me), discrepancy with eye color (hazel vs brown). Ashley was already missing 2 teeth / had 2 false teeth, I think it’s possible she could have lost more if she wasn’t taking proper care of them / didn’t have access or means to. No mentions of any scars on the Jane Doe however I wonder if being thrown from a moving vehicle could conceal their existence? No mentions of Ashley having noted scoliosis however this is something that isn’t always discovered right away / can develop later in life.

Karen Ann Penson
Last seen on May 26, 1983 in Tacoma, WA. She had an argument with her husband and called a friend to come pick her up. Husband claims he left the household and when he returned she was gone. Five days later her purse and some belongings were found wet on a beach. Her husband had a history of DV and a few years later he shoots his next wife in the leg (she survives and police shot him to death on scene). Karen was 31 yrs old at the time of her disappearance, 5’2 & 105lbs, with strawberry / blonde hair and blue eyes. DOB May 25, 1982.

“Suzi Clark”
On February 10, 2005 a woman who gave the aliases “Suzi Clark” and “Carol Sue Wright”** **died by lung cancer in Sacramento County, CA. I can’t deny the most likely situation is that Karen’s husband murdered her, dispose of her body on his drive away from the home, and left her belongings behind. But then I came across this Jane Doe who bears a striking resemblance. Karen was of very similar size and falls into the age range. Could Karen have gotten out of her abusive relationship alive and started life elsewhere under a new alias? Could she had left behind her own belongings? Are her birthday and the Jane Doe’s birthday just an eerie coincidence being so close to the same day?

Could Mary have left WV to start a new life in CA? Is black vs hair too much of a discrepancy or could her hair have turned darker with age or is it a difference in opinion when reporting her missing? Height is perfect (both 5’5) but that could be a coincidence as it’s a pretty average height, is this just another doppelgänger situation?

Pulaski County John Doe (2023)
On January 9, 2023 skeletal remains were found in a wooded area near St. Robert, MO. Investigators believe the remains were a white male, 55-80 yrs old, and 5’7-6’2. PMI is estimated to be around 3 yrs.

Shelby County Jane Doe (2007)

On October 11, 2007 a woman’s decomposed body was found in a wooded in Shelby County, TN. It’s stated that one or more hands were not recovered and one or more limbs were not recovered. Cause of death could not be determined. Her PMI is thought to only be weeks. She’s estimated to be 20-35 yrs old, 5’3, and has wavy brown hair. She has a long exclusions list but according to the Doe Network her DNA is not available (?).

There’s not a lot of distance between the MP and the UID, only about a 3.5 hr drive. Mary is a few years older than the age estimate by 2007, but not terribly so. Mary seemed to have a lot of aliases on her Namus and would also go by Amanda. Could she have moved and gone MIA on her family for 4 yrs? I think I see a strong resemblance to the reconstruction but then I also second guess her nose (would the profiles match?). The only major discrepancy I can see here is there is no mentions of a scar on the Jane Doe. Could this be missed due to decomposition?

I know I’ve seen incredibly similar teeth posted here on a reconstruction but for the life of me I can’t remember which Jane Doe it was. I can’t remember any further details about the Jane Doe I’m sorry! I was really curious if the timing could possibly align with Elizabeth. I’ve tried searching from Elizabeth’s details but haven’t had any luck and I’m hoping someone else remembers the Jane Doe with the distinctive teeth.

“Betty the Bag Lady” | UP8224

On August 23, 1992 a woman’s remains were discovered along a roadside in New Buffalo, MI. She was found inside two garbage bags with a sheet and an institutional type towel. She was nude and bound. Her hands and dentures were missing. Her PMI is estimated to be a week or less. She had white hair, brown eyes, an appendectomy scar, and a fractured spine. She’s estimated to be around 65-75 yrs old, white, 5’2-5’3, and 102-105lbs. Investigators believe it’s possible she resided in a care facility in a nearby state and was dumped in MI.

I don’t think Linda looks like any of the sketches at all (the nose detail is throwing me off, it’s not shown on the reconstruction?) but I think her overall face shape looks a lot like the reconstruction. The most compelling factor here would be the distance; the Jane Doe was discovered <30 minutes away from where Linda was reporting missing. Linda is also a few years younger than the estimated age but I don’t think unreasonably so?

I have no idea what happened to Tina after her arrest. Unfortunately there just isn’t much information available to us about Tina. Did she make bail? Was she actually convicted? Did she go into witness protection as others have suggested? She is reported missing since January 26, 1987 from Gulfport, MS, however she was arrested in 1988. It’s thought she may have had contact with family in 1989. She was around 27-29yrs old around the time of her disappearance with dyed blonde hair and hazel eyes. She was around 5’-5’2 & 95-110lbs.

Lee County Jane Doe (1995)

On October 7, 1995, a woman’s body was found floating in water in Sanibel, FL. She was found inside a sleeping bag inside of another bag, and then tied to a 60+ lbs battery. She had on a watch that had stopped on September 25, 1995 12:50pm. It’s been determined she’s a victim of homicide, but they are unsure on cause of death. She had so many old injuries I would guess she was in some kind of car accident or other traumatic events at some point in her life (fractured arm, fractured clavicle, ankle fracture, unusual head injury). She had on a hospital gown that investigators were able to trace, however the hospital claimed there was no record of her being there. I’ve seen Jane Doe’s hair described as light brown, dark or strawberry blonde with a reddish tint. She was around 5’1-5’3 & 115lbs. They believe she is 30-50 yrs old with no history of childbirth and possibly a smoker.

Could Tina have left and lived a handful of years in secrecy to only then meet foul play? Did she get entangled in illegal activities again? It’d imagine it’s very possible to have connections like that in other states? The hospital gown / shirt is really a mystery to me. I think Tina looks a lot like the new reconstruction, however I don’t really see it in the original clay reconstructions so that makes me wonder if I’m really off base here.
