Ive only been making music now for a couple years. Lately I’ve been stuck just basically creating 8-12 bar loops. Any pointers for how I can transition into making more full, legit songs instead?
I use GarageBand on an old laptop just cuz it’s free. I mainly play the guitar and bass, but sometimes I’ll use a midi keyboard for drums and synths, etc. although i don’t really know what I’m doing lol. I end up just recording a little “loop” and then I’ve just been repeating it for a certain length of time. Though it doesn’t sound like a song really, it just sounds like a repetitive loop. I’d love to break out of this “plateau” so to speak…
