Is there a competitive build that heals you as you inflict damage but non leech related?

Witch newbie looking for build direction.
Doss the Bloodmage has a fast clearing build that somehow freezes enemies AoE style in such a way that the immobility provides added defense to the character ?
Im willing to put the hours on the learning and the grinding as long as the build can handle endgame content including pinnacle bosses.
I absolutely prefer BM but if I must absolutely respect to Lich or Infernalist Im willing to consider, although the latter does not really fit the concept at least name wise.
TY for your time and everything you do in this sub to guide newbies like myself.
Im L89 but still feel like a superb newbie.
