If so, what’s the protocol? I’m certain your SM would say If a patient is contagious just put them in the immunization room. Then, a dedicated technician will disinfect the room. PPE is limited so what are you going to do?

Patient confusion on an GLP-1 recently picked up!

The title says it all patient was confused during her Zepbound pickup in Georgia. We know the quantity is 2. I’d assume the pharmacy technician didn’t explain that each pen is 0.5 mls. The doctor was even confused because he said 90 day when it’s 84 days with a quantity of 6 if written correctly. Pharmacist dispensed the correct amount. Doctor wrote for two months. I bet some technician said we owe you a box! Patient has Ambetter from Peach State Health Plan leaflet shows PERX and Group 2CVA. Typically, the plan covers Ozempic. A redditor pointed out the fact that anyone in the pharmacy can figure out who the account belongs to because of the Rx number. Reddit user deleted the post. Does everyone in your location know how to explain the reason why it’s 2?

I shouldn’t feel bad for leaving it freaking sucks!

My favorite pharmacist from another location wanted me to work. I choked up explaining I couldn’t. Literally, why didn’t they contact me sooner? Everyone wants to be caring all of a sudden. I just couldn’t keep accepting abuse. People laugh when you’re in pain. Then, they make jokes when you consider leaving. I swear the moment you’re done they wish they would’ve said something. There were some good days. The freaking bad messed everything up over the last 30 days. I’m not going back but damn I feel bad! 😞

I went to the doctor this week. Today, I went to my eye exam ordered my last part of Walgreens covered frames. I’m trying to make sure I don’t receive any unnecessary bills.

As the flair says, I’m no longer with Walgreens pharmacy. The verbal abuse, emotional, and almost physical abuse had to end! Everyone else y’all hang on.

What exactly is “store closing” worthy?

it looks like the sewage line backed up and flooded both bathrooms with poop water. SM and ESM suggested we closed temporarily until we can get someone out to clean it up since it’s a literal biohazard. Store care sent us a plumber who told us his job is not to clean up 💩, but to diagnose the issue, which is fair.
DM told us to carry on as is. (15 minutes after this pic) It then poured out down the hallway to the pharmacy door trapping everyone in.

My husband gave me an ultimatum Walgreens or him?

I know I complained about the job on occasions. Now, it’s you let them throw $2 more hourly at you to deal with more bs. I got chewed out over numbers as SPTC. When my husband found out RXM went off on me he flipped wondering why I put Walgreens over his family. The fact I was forced to become an immunizer made him even madder. My husband is tired of how the company does me after I bend over backwards! Well, I am at a loss for words. How do I even move on from here?

My pharmacy manager needs training on how to run the pharmacy.

I feel blessed that we have a pharmacy manager. I’ve been noticing a pattern lately when RxOM isn’t around. Often, I’m stopped to help with compliance issues. I don’t get paid enough to train the pharmacist. In fact, this is adding on to another annoyance they have me training technicians now part of my job. The technicians I’m training have been around longer than me. I don’t care how great my customer service is the RxOM should be doing that not me! Perhaps, someone can help me here. Is there like a course or something I can refer them too?

Happy Mother’s Day my pharmacy manager said I’m the new senior technician! *sighs

I cannot believe I am staying with this company. My job isn’t hard it’s just the techs playing incompetent and problem patients. The other job offer was declined because the requisition wasn’t tagged properly. Pharmacy manager said 20 hours a week it wasn’t full-time benefits after 12 months. I’d be a damn fool to jump ship now with full-time benefits and nearly 40 hours a week. There are so many people in my area looking for jobs with company layoffs. I’m just waiting on my raise to go through. I don’t know where the $4 an hour increase is coming from. However, I know it’s only $2 if that. How long did you have to wait before everything went into effect? I need a new badge as well with the little dumb immunizer thingy. What else is supposed to happen besides being added to that senior tech group chat. Whew, I have to suck it up. 😭

Okay, I’ve served at least 100 people ready to go home!

I still have to survive the lunch crowd. Our phone has been ringing off the hook. I’m rebilling nonstop. I have been apologizing because of my rude ass coworkers with no bedside manners. Our DM keeps contacting the store. The rain is just making people act crazy. I don’t know if it’s Mother’s Day or just we’ve increased in business. I’m so tired from running. Wow, I hope your day is better than mine. I haven’t heard back from the interview.

We have a RxOM who is fully capable of filling out the PeXT board. The board is filled whenever they feel like it which pisses SM off. I’m not sure why but when I work with this individual it’s my job to fill it out. I’ve completed the board many times before that helped workflow move smoothly. Now, I’m sick of this task. I have technicians who’ve been with the company longer than me not wanting to rotate. My issue is I’m not a Senior Technician don’t plan on it anymore. I was told only RxOMs and Senior Technicians fill out the PeXT board. Why am I being held responsible for this board when it’s not complete?

I’m not going to lie to you couldn’t sleep last night. Walgreens seems to be going downhill. My RxOM and I had a deep conversation about mental health. The new DMs and schedulers are not honoring PTO requests or increasing the budget. We have unreal expectations that won’t be met. If I’m going to be forced to do something I need $25 an hour. I have an interview set up where I can make between $22-29 an hour. No, I don’t have a fancy role! I’ll be doing 1/2 the amount of work with higher pay wish me luck! Remember, this is the best time to try to get your foot in another door!
