I’m curious about how hotels control this issue operationally.
How do you prevent front desk agents from quoting a higher room rate to a guest and keeping the difference instead of charging the official rate? For example, if the PMS shows a room should be $200/night, how can management stop the GSA from telling the guest it’s $250 and pocketing the extra $50?

Bit of a niche question, but does anyone in the (preferably) DC or DMV area know where I could find fresh laurel leaves or a florist/person who makes Italian-style graduation laurel crowns (corona d’alloro)?
My girlfriend is graduating soon and I wanted to do the traditional Italian laurel wreath instead of a cap. Ideally looking for someone local who could make one, or even just a place that sells fresh bay/laurel branches.
