Belly was clearly uncomfortable with Jeremiah trying to mark “his territory” right next to his brother and her ex boyfriend, like five weeks after s2 finale.

And let’s not forget how Belly and Conrad immediately stopped being cute at Thanksgiving when Jere looked at them like he wanted to throw something at them. They were being considerate. And Belly, here, at least tried to not throw it in Conrad’s face but of course Jeremiah has to act like he always does.

They will never make me like him.

This scene is so special. They go from being very awkward around each other to comfortable as always in a short time. He really listens to what she is telling him and makes connections from his life which breaks the ice and she is reminded of how they always were able to just be with each other.
It’s never been as easy with any other person as it has been between with them. Talking about nothing and everything all at once.

I still want Jenny to make a list of all the Easter eggs they put into the show and why. I’m sure there are a few the fandom “found” that just aren’t intentional, but this is definitely a planned one.
