Why is games media still afraid to talk about SKG?

I know many Top “Journalists”’are in the SKG discord. But IGN just released an entire video on physical media going away and no mention of skg.

This is what ‘Stop killing games’ is all about 🤷‍♂️

At 4:57 they talk about crew but not skg.

I get it, they are dependent on sony and Microsoft money to run their org, they are business first second and third.

But if we call them out , make noise, then covering skg becomes a profitable decision.

Tbh I don’t know. It’s all doom and gloom now.
Real life is a meme now.

Main stream Game media does their best to Avoid covering SKG

Be it SKG, discord or Roblox controversies. They do their best to avoid talking about it.
They will do fake gta 6 rumors for days though.

I mean I get it, its 2026, bill are high and you still have to pay them. Unless we make it profitable to cover skg they aren’t gonna risk the money they get from studios.

But somebody has to say this part out loud.

Why is the city sponsoring AI Film festival & exhibition

Every summer distal districts hosts multiple events, including a film festival (ICFF). This year 1/3rd of that is AI.

Ai artists, AI short films, they are even giving talks (i think) .

The ‘art’ isn’t even that good. It looks like that early chatgpt stuff that couldn’t get fingers or text right.

I know all if us have a mandate at work, to use more AI. And yes there are use cases where it helps.

But why is the City Paying for AI ‘Art’?
(Also their main sponsor is rogers, not sure if they are forcing them to do this)

Also are you among the people who are buying tickets to go to this?
