Editorial playliats are possible!

I recently got added to my first editorial and wanted to share my excitement and my strategy for writing pitches.

When I write a pitch i make sure to include 3 things, info about the song (how it was made, general vibe), How i plan to promote it, and what editorials i think it would be good for.

a few other notes:

This was a collab so it may have been my collab partners pitch that got their attention, I have no way of knowing.

The song got added a week after it released, so they definitely keep considering tracks even if you pitch late, because we only pitched it a week before release.

keep pitching and they'll eventually see your music if it's good enough quality!

I juat hit 10k monthly listeners!!! Just wanted to celebrate somewhere!

Been making dubstep since 2021.

Playlisting since 2023.

Promoting with meta ads since 2023.

For some more context: I released 2 collabs with different artists of a similar size in the past 2 months. both songs are on the playlist im sending people to with my meta ads. Ads are currently at $12 a day with a .16 cost per click. I do post on socials, realistically 4 low effort videos a week (usually just me in my studio dancing around to my own music). I do not have discocver mode enabled yet (Just got access, kicks in next month).

My most recent song currently has a popularity score of 32
