Some beauties from tonight!

Does anyone know what the dark purple is? It was mislabeled sadly!

Update to my “PSA: it’s wet AF” post - we are thriving

Original post: https://www.reddit.com/r/dahlias/s/xdqB4Z3oxF

We mixed perlite back in with the soil so hopefully we have no more crises going forward! Perlite is an absolute game changer. This is my first year growing so I am learning as I go! Miss Amara and Crichton Honey might be cooked. We shall see - but we are otherwise good! Last pic is Valley Rust Bucket 🤩

PSA: it’s wet AF - this is my tip to save your plants!!

I see so many people suffering. I’ve been trying to comment on one post at a time to help. Cull the soil backkkk. It’s soooooo wet under there. I pulled it back until I see the tubers. They need to dry out. Slowly mix in wet soil with dry soil over several days to add the soil back in. This will work. Letting them sit and rot and pray they will dry out WONT. Any areas that have gotten a lot of rain - this message is for you! Mine are in raised beds****

ETA: I highly suggest you do this now before your plants show signs of suffering. My Miss Amara was my red flag and I’m not sure she can be saved so I’m being proactive on the rest.

What is wrong with this dahlia?

I have 16 and all my other ones are fine. They’re all in raised beds. I watered it good yesterday and today it’s still the same sad wilty.

Started on April 1. All other tubers are thriving. However, this one has been this size for at least two weeks. Do you think I overwatered and it’s probably rotting?
