Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I’m just wondering if anyone has any experience going to SailGP in 2024.

Hi all! I recently had a very good time visiting Halifax from for the NLL finals and I was looking at other upcoming events and SailGP seems to be a fairly big event coming up soon (and recently confirmed to be renewed for 2027!)

I’m just wondering if anyone has attended in the past and whether it is worth the drive up from P.E.I. to watch. I’ve watched SailGP on TV before and it looked interesting, although I wonder if it might be a bit hard to follow in-person.

For those who have attended before: did you bother paying for grandstand seating? If so, was it worth the price? If not, where did you go to watch the race, and how early did you have to get there to get a good view?

Now that the season has come to an end, what are some of the key stories to watch in the offseason? I haven’t really followed free agency much, so I don’t know who is on the market.

I think the most obvious thing that most of us are following what is happening what is happening about the Wings situation, but I’m wondering if anyone knows what the latest news/rumours are. It seems like a lot of people are confident that it won’t be another Panther City situation, but I really haven’t heard too many rumours about who potential buyers may be.
