“Rhubarb and The Rhu will be closed effectively immediately.
While it is with heavy hearts that we make this announcement, we are also filled with deep gratitude for the Asheville community for supporting us through more than a decade of service, and for the team who worked so diligently to revive the brand after Helene. It has been an honor and an absolute privilege, I could not have asked for a more passionate, creative, talented, hard working team.
For those planning to dine with us in coming days, your reservation will be/has been canceled and while we are sorry we won't be able to serve you we hope you will dine with our friends at @hailmaryavl @birdiespizza.avl @potentialnewbf @theadmiralasheville @finestavl, to name a very small few of the massive talent where great hospitality lives on in Asheville.
Event clients will be contacted on an individual basis as we navigate this closure with our teams at Rhubarb and The Rhu.
We will host a pay-what-you-can farewell dinner at Rhubarb on Sunday, October 11th to support our staff.
