Recently discovered you can fill your squadron with sentinel ships!

Find a damaged sentinel ship and repair it. Go to the space station and swap ships with an NPC pilot. They will take the sentinel ship and then you can recruit them into your squadron.

Lurking in the shadows/below the surface ...

... and the locals are used to it or ignore it. I know Lovecraftian would be an obvious choice but I'm looking for other options.
