PPL(A) conversion

I’ve completed the ppl under easa ULC back in October last year, I’ve completed the liscense in nonvember. Ive got 55 training hours of which 16 is solo. Ever since, I’ve been living in England trying to save money in order to get the airline liscense. Recently I thought that it would be best to do it modular.

Here’s the question. I’ve had a look how to convert the liscense from EASA to CAA and it all seems extremely long and expensive. I’ve got a gut feeling that there is a short cut. Is there anyone who’s been in a similar situation, or could tell me how to convert and when am I not eligible to convert?

20M tips on my portfolio and investing

Hey everyone, so I’m fairly new to investing and have been at it for about 6 months now. I work two jobs and basically deposit whatever I have left over above £200 in my bank each week into my Stocks ISA on Trading212.

My portfolio is currently sitting at around £5,200 and I’m up roughly 14-15% on what I’ve actually put in which I’m pretty happy with considering I’m just starting out.

My main holdings are AMD, Micron and Nvidia which have been smashing it, AMD is up over 100% for me. I also hold VUAG and VWRP as my core ETFs which I’ve recently started putting more into.

I’ll be honest, I made some mistakes early on. I was using AI tools like Grok to pick stocks which led me to buy some random ones like Replimune (a biotech that tanked 45% on me) and I averaged down on Tesla way too many times which cost me a lot. I’ve since sold all the dead weight and simplified things.

Long term I’m saving up for a commercial pilot licence so I don’t want to be taking massive risks but I also don’t want to just park everything in ETFs when AI and semiconductor stocks look so strong right now.

My questions are:
• Is my split between ETFs and individual stocks sensible for someone my age?

• Am I right to be bullish on AMD, Micron and Nvidia long term or am I missing something?

• Any stocks or ETFs worth looking at that I might not have considered?

Any other help will be much appreciated.

Cheers
