I’ve recently reached a ₹1 Cr net worth at 27.

I’m a software engineer by profession, and most of my net worth is invested in mutual funds, FDs, and EPF.

I know the first question many of you will have is: how did you reach ₹1 Cr at this age?

I work at a FAANG-equivalent company and, alongside my job, I had also been freelancing. I’ve essentially been working 7 days a week for the last 4–5 years.
I’ve now stopped freelancing because I just can’t keep doing it anymore.

Honestly, I’m tired.

Tired of the constant pressure of deadlines, performance evaluations, difficult work, and the constant fear of layoffs and uncertainty.

I want to retire and live a peaceful life in a tier-2/3 city. I also plan to remain single and don’t intend to get married.

So, my question is:
Is it realistically possible for me to retire now with ₹1 Cr and live a simple, peaceful life?
