ID. Buzz owners: mileage, ownership time, and battery health?

Hey everyone, for those who already own an ID. Buzz: how many miles/km have you put on it, how long have you had it, and how is the battery holding up so far? Any noticeable degradation or range drop after real-world use? Thanks in advance.

Hi all,

I’m thinking about buying a VW ID. Buzz (short wheelbase) and can’t decide between:

- Standard finance and own it at the end (about 56.000 euros - 65.000 usd).

- Flexible/balloon plan (decide in 4 years: keep, return, or switch) (about 30.000 euros - 35.000 usd paid).

In principle, I’d like to keep the car for at least 10 years. Right now, I’m leaning towards standard finance and then selling it after 10–12 years, but I’m not sure how much value it might lose by then, especially being an EV.

What would you choose in this case? Does flexible still make more sense with battery degradation and fast-changing tech?

Usage: very few km/miles of daily driving + occasional trips + some camping.

Thanks!

I’m thinking of buying one, but I’ve heard that the camping mode may be available soon. We’d like to be able to have the air conditioning or heating on during the night. Will they release this option soon? Otherwise we are also thinking about the Kia PV5 since it has this option.

What are your thoughts? This is the price we got today. I think it’s 54000usd.
