My phone does not support esim. What are my option to get data in Johannesburg? I use a my.T sim card in Mauritius

Hi, i will be travelling to Johannesburg with my parents for 3 weeks. What do you suggest would be the best car rental or should i instead use public transport. I will have to go from OR Tambo to Broklynn, Pretoria and from there to Sandton. We will mostly be around Sandton with the occasional sightseeing and then from there back to the OR Tambo airport. Uber is so expensive, I feel like it makes more sense to get a rental unless public transport is easy to go across these 3 places. Or is there a car ride share? I am open to any suggestions.
