Advice re most appropriate replacement Roborock
Hi gang. I have a refurbed Qrevo (base model) and it's failing badly. Don't buy a refurbed unit.
I need to replace it with something that's going to be reliable and just work.
The space I'm cleaning is a yoga studio, about 170sqm (~1,800 sqft). It's pretty neat and tidy, and we do have a cleaning team do a full vacuum and mop once a week also.
Requirements:
- There are big open spaces with no obstacles. It needs to be able to handle this. (My old beloved S6 managed this fine, the Qrevo handles it occasionally but usually just hallucinates extra rooms).
- I don't need mopping at all; I'll disable it if the unit I buy has it.
- The floor is 90% timber, with a couple of low-pile rugs.
- Decent battery life is important. It's a pretty big space and the unit will be run twice daily.
- A dust bag in the dock, so I don't have to empty the bin in the unit after every clean.
I'm torn between buying a cheap little unit (which is the mistake I made with the Qrevo) and a fancy, more expensive unit.
At the end of the day I want a unit that will run happily for at least a week without navigation failing or needing sensors cleaned, which doesn't seem like too much to ask right?
Thanks all for your help. Appreciate it.
