What should I do if Hindenburg sacks me and I can't get the presidency?

I know the modman begs me not to ragequit when this happens, but it often seems like that the game is pretty much over if Hindeburg sacks my government before I'm able to enact an economic plan. There is always the option of doing The Funniest Thing Ever, a.k.a. winning the presidential election and forming an emergency government, but if I'm unable to do that and all elections just keep giving me toleration until either Rubicon or mini-Rubicon (the one where Hindy just appoints Hitler) happens, what should I do?

Say the SPD and KPD let bygones be bygones and form a united front government. This government then survives all KPD demands and stays together until the end of the crisis. The Conciliators lead the KPD, the SPD is firmly controlled by its Left faction, and the bourgeois parties are reduced to a minority.

In Dynamic, this would give you the ending where Germany becomes a socialist republic (a democratic one if the SPD is the stronger party, a one-party state if the KPD is the stronger). Even if this didn't happen, how would a long-lasting Left Front affect both parties?
