T7 to DRZ4s
2 years ago I bought a crf300l and was underwhelmed, so sold it and bought a 2002 Honda xrv750. Decided I wanted something newer that I would keep long term and learn/grow with so sold that to a colleague and bought a 2024 T7 Extreme.
I love it. My friends and I mostly ride gravel roads in Sweden with some asphalt to and from and connecting trails, so it’s like 60/40 off/onroad. I thought I’d bought my forever bike and maybe
I did but just prematurely. I find the weight intimidating to learn on and push myself. So last week I bought a ‘16 350 excf off a friend to help build confidence and skill on. I’m getting more comfortable off road all the time but the more I ride the T7 the more I dislike the weight off-road. So I’m thinking of selling it for a DRZ4s. I’m all about having fun and feel I’d enjoy
riding more on a more agile bike without the weight penalty. The 350 will be a great learning tool. I’m 5’10” 90kg and fit. Thinking the T7/DRZ4s swap is good idea? Thoughts?
