Looked at a used Ariya - Need Feedback
I just test drove a 2024 Nissan Ariya Engage FWD with only 15k miles on it. Its a certified pre-owned, looked brand new and drove super nice. I am currently driving a Mazda CX5 which I do like, but I am considering the change for these reasons:
Gas prices (I have solar so this might offset driving costs)
Lower maintenance and better mechanical reliability
Convenience of charging at home
My concerns:
range. I work from home and do mostly local driving, occasionally I drive 2 hrs roundtrip and would prefer not to need to stop to charge.
Reliability of tech items like the screens after the CPO warranty is over.
Losing the AWD leaving the Mazda. I live in NJ so we do get snow occasionally, but we have a family SUV with 4 wheel drive I can always use.
The asking price is $23k plus taxes and fees, they also would give me $12,500 for my Mazda which I could sell for around $14k on my own. My OTD would be $13k. Any thoughts or concerns or feedback?
Also, warming or cooling the car down from the phone, I assume there is a subscription fee involved? Thanks in advance for any help!!!
