had apple pay, debit and credit all fail on a bus this afternoon “please pay the driver” and the driver told me to get off. later on another bus my partner’s phone payment also failed but the driver let him stay on.

what’s actually supposed to happen if the terminals aren’t working properly but you’re clearly trying to pay? we’re new to this.

EDIT: happened again this morning, had to tag on at the rear which worked. basically, it’s a mess.

someone here posted the article about the discounted Atto 3s a few days ago, which got me interested and we ended up buying one today. thanks to everyone in this sub - the discussions and advice genuinely helped.
